Reform Radiology to Bring Advanced Diagnostic Imaging to Nelson

Reform Radiology is expanding into the Nelson region, with plans for a new purpose-built diagnostic imaging clinic.

Expected to open in 2027, the new facility will bring additional imaging capacity and modern technology to the region, offering a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services.

The clinic will extend Reform Radiology’s established Christchurch operation into Nelson, bringing the same focus on high-quality imaging, specialist expertise and patient care to the region.

Reform Radiology is partnering with local clinicians to develop a regionally focused service, providing greater access, capacity and choice for diagnostic imaging across Nelson and the wider region.

“Having access to high-quality diagnostic imaging is an important part of timely clinical decision-making,” said Dr Dan Holbert, Nelson-based Radiologist. “The new clinic will add valuable imaging capacity in the region and give local clinicians and patients greater access to a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services, supported by modern technology and specialist expertise.”

“Bringing our experience and technology to the Nelson region means people here will get the imaging and care they need, closer to home,” said Paul Mouthaan, General Manager of Reform Radiology.

Planning and recruitment for the new clinic are underway, with further details about the facility, services and opening to be shared as the development progresses.
