Lotte Steffens
Following medical studies at the University of Otago in Dunedin, Lotte completed RANZCR Clinical Radiology training in Christchurch.
She then pursued a one-year fellowship in abdominal and oncologic imaging, before undertaking two additional years of formal advanced training in nuclear medicine in Christchurch and Auckland, becoming the first New Zealand trained nuclear medicine specialist.

Nuclear medicine imaging with a particular focus on oncologic and non-oncologic PET/CT.
Oncologic molecular imaging for neuroendocrine and prostate cancer.
Abdominal and pelvic MRI.
General nuclear medicine including cardiac and paediatric studies.
As a dual-trained radiologist and nuclear medicine specialist, Lotte is formally certified in theranostics (radioligand therapy) by the Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists (AANMS), alongside substantial clinical experience in delivering these treatments.
Lotte is dedicated to advancing diagnostic imaging and theranostics in Aotearoa/New Zealand. She is a committee member of the RANZCR NZ Branch, contributes to several NZ and Australasian based committees, and is a member of numerous international professional bodies, including AANMS, EANM, SNMMI, and ANZSNM.
