Joel Dunn
Joel obtained his medical degree at Imperial College, University of London in 2006, before undertaking his specialist Radiology training at St. Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College NHS trust, London.
In 2014, Joel moved to Christchurch to complete a fellowship in abdominal radiology and has been working as a consultant radiologist at Christchurch public hospital since. Joel has also undertaken further specialist training in PET/CT and MSK radiology at Mercy Radiology, Auckland.
Joel is a keen and passionate teacher and educator and is an holds active clinical supervisory roles for radiology trainees and international medical graduates. He currently sits on the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Radiologists workforce and NZ branch committees.
Joel is an invited speaker to conferences and lectures at meetings and courses nationally and internationally. He regularly reviews and publishes in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Joel is passionate about Reform Radiology providing a patient centric, highest quality service and establishing competition and increased access to the public of Waitaha, Canterbury.
